My internet is being fuzzy at best. That means that I've been watching television, visiting people and, more importantly, reading. This is awesome, because I have lots of books I want to read, and I really, really want to read more books this month (the last month before uni starts *gulp*) than I did last month.

How many books did you read in January? you may be thinking.

To which I would reply, Um, heh, well, funny you should ask that, oh, hey, what's that over there?

Ok, fine. You got me. Four. Yes, OK, you heard right. Four.

They were good books, though.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins - 4.5/5 - Would have been five but the last three pages pissed the hell out of me.

Unseen Academicals by Terry Prattchett - 5/5 - One of my favourite Discworld books, and favourite Pterry books, which is saying a lot. Nutt was fantastic, and it felt like a reunion book that wasn't intended to be a reunion book. Very natural.

Nation by Terry Prattchett - 5/5 - One of my favourite books of all time. Everyone should read this.

Pretties by Scott Westerfeld - 3.5/5 - Solid writing, excellent worldbuilding, but no magic to it. It very much felt like the plot of the first book regurgitated and dressed in new clothes.

I've got to be able to do better this month.
