I can't quite raise the enthusiasm to merit a win, but the memory of falling asleep without realising (at what, five? four thirty?) last night does bring a small smile to my lips. 15 hrs sleep does bring a certain happiness to a girl.
I'm currently trying out Fall Out Boy's Folie à Deux. It does not have, so far, the catchy sing-along quality of my personal favourite, From Under The Cork Tree, which had our entire family (including my 45yo mother) roaring along in car trips back up our long and oft-times treacherous hill. Neither does it seem to have the intensity of Infinity On High, which, love it or hate it, burnt itself into my brain, even when I didn't want it to. It does have an easy listenability though, the kind which I have no doubt will see me throwing it on for writing or reading sessions often.
I've managed to swap my shifts around at work, so it seems that Boy Sibling #1's visit is now almost certain. This is a good thing. ^^ I have no idea what we'll be doing, but I am deeply, deeply looking forward to it.
A week til Christmas. Ugh.
(It should be noted I do not have an innate hatred for Christmas, and I roll my eyes at the increasingly fashionable trend to be a Grinch, and how it is now cool to loathe the holidays. I enjoy the holidays, and I love this Holiday perhaps most of all. It's just that I'm working Christmas Day this year, and there is a lot I must get done before the New Year hits.)
A friend and I are collabing right now. It's delightful. ^^ (We're still at the ideas stage - it will get worse from here, I've no doubt.)

seanan_mcguire's Fifty Thoughts On Writing. They're both interesting and entertaining. The way I most enjoy having my information packaged. ^^
